Being naked on a holy bridge, where Hindu Gods, Ram, his brother Lakshman and wife Sita crossed the Ganges

In NEW DELHI, AFP reported a French woman has been arrested for making a video of herself naked on a holy bridge in the Indian city of Rishikesh, police said yesterday, Saturday 29 August 2020.
The 27-year-old now faces charges under India’s internet law with a maximum sentence of three years jail if found guilty.
She was detained on Thursday 27 August 2020 after posting footage of herself on the Lakshman Jhula, a footbridge over the Ganges river made famous by the Beatles in the 1960s and which remains a draw for backpackers and yoga practitioners.
“Maybe in France these things are not considered objectionable,” R K Saklani, head of the police station where the woman was taken, commented.
“But Rishikesh is a holy place and the Lakshman Jhula is the place where (Hindu gods) Ram, his brother Lakshman and wife Sita crossed the Ganges.”
Police only identified the woman by her first name Marie-Helene and said she had been in Rishikesh since March, just before a nationwide coronavirus lockdown was introduced.
“She told us she sells bead necklaces online and the shoot was aimed at promoting her business,” Saklani said.
Apart from the video on the bridge, the French woman had also taken naked pictures inside a hotel room, Saklani added.
Police were alerted after the footage and photos were posted on social media.
The woman has been released on bail and the case could take months to complete, the officer said. Her mobile phone has been seized as part of the investigation.

MAHATHIR MAY REJOIN UMNO

Image
What Mahathir expected did not happen Initially, Mahathir Mohamad thought his party – PPBM (Bersatu) – could  morph  into a new version of UMNO. After all, it was him who brilliantly destroyed the original UMNO in 1988 and created “UMNO Baru” (the current UMNO version 2.0). But unlike in 1988, Mr. Mahathir had quit UMNO to form PPBM on 8 September 2016, and was no longer in charge of UMNO. UMNO won four times higher than Bersatu in GE14 Hence, after he leveraged on opposition Pakatan Harapan and stunningly defeated the scandal-plagued Najib government, his first priority was  recruiting  UMNO MPs to join his party. UMNO, although lost miserably, still won 54 parliamentary seats in the May 2018 General Election – more than 4 times the number of seats Mahathir’s party managed to capture. PPBM the worst among four strategic parties Mahathir’s party won  only 13 seats  out of the 52 Parliamentary seats it contested in the 2018 poll. That’s ...

BERI PELUANG LIM KIT SIANG JADI PERDANA MENTERI SAMPAI 2023

Image
Penyelesaian terbaik untuk kemelut politik Malaysia. Lim Kit Siang sebagai Perdana Menteri Malaysia Ke-9  (2020-2023) Lim Kit Siang, Ahli Parlimen (DAP) Iskandar Puteri, Negeri Johor Gambar dari NST SAYA orang Melayu. Saya penganut agama Islam. Saya sayangkan bangsa Melayu.

Who are the lion, tiger, fox and wolves in Malaysian politics?

Image
Ten Wolves Under the Administration of a Tiger The Lion put the Tiger in charge of ten wolves Every day, the Lion brought them eleven pieces of meat. The Tiger divided the food fairly: he kept one piece for himself and gave the other ten, all equal in size, to the wolves—one piece each. Several days passed, and the wolves began to whisper among themselves in discontent.  “Why does the Tiger get as much as we do?” said one. “He hardly does anything. All he does is hand out the food,” another agreed. “There are ten of us and only one of him. If we drive him away, we can decide for ourselves who deserves how much.” The Tiger heard their whispers, but he did not change his rules. He believed that as long as he treated everyone fairly, there would be no reason for rebellion. But one day, the wolves surrounded him.  “We don’t need a leader anymore,” said the boldest among them. “Leave.” The Tiger had no desire to fight ten wolves. He left the pack and returned to the Lion. The next ...
