Kiandee is prepared to quit PAC chief post

Whatever Dr Mahathir would like to say about PAC, Beluran MP Ronald Kiandee is always there and ever ready to say yes.

The obliging (to the prime minister) PAC chairman said yesterday that he would make way for new PAC chairman, 

He said that he would leave the post once a new chairman is proposed at the parliament.

"I will abide by Tun's (Dr Mahathir) decision," Kiandee told Free Malaysia Today (FMT).

Kiandee was responding to the prime minister's statement earlier on the same day that he (Ronald Kiandee) would retain PAC chairman until a new suitable candidate was identified.

What Mahathir expected did not happen Initially, Mahathir Mohamad thought his party – PPBM (Bersatu) – could  morph  into a new version of UMNO. After all, it was him who brilliantly destroyed the original UMNO in 1988 and created “UMNO Baru” (the current UMNO version 2.0). Shah Alam City YESTERDAY, FMT reported that the capital city of Selangor had become very quiet, slow and almost no business, many buildings unoccupied, which one of them only utilised by less than ten staff of a company. Some factories closed down, businesses from petty traders to big timers closed shops for the past six months and so on. Even foreign business people from Indonesia and Pakistan decided to go back to their respective countries or moved to other places. A prominent business analyst, in his blog wrote that one of the reasons for the downfall of Shah Alam was the government's policy in overconcentrating a Malay population in the said city. Dalam satu perkembangan yang agak memeranjatkan, teraju utama Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli mengesahkan Encik Syukri Razab ( gambar , atas sekali ) adalah presiden parti itu dan namanya berdaftar dengan Pendaftar Pertubuhan (RoS - Registrar of Society) Malaysia. Beliau merupakan bekas pegawai khas kepada Rafizi Ramli. Selepas pengambilalihan parti tersebut, Rafizi dan Encik Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad mengambil alih peranan sebagai peneraju utama parti, namun Syukri Razab kekal memegang jawatan Presiden Parti Bersama.
