Blunt statement to Anwar by Zaid Ibrahim
It should be "Undur Anwar", not 'Undur Azam Baki," says Zaid Ibrahim
B R I E F
Former member of UMNO, PKR, Kita and DAP, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has criticised the protest movement opposing the reappointment of MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki, saying it is misdirected.
According to Malaysiakini, Zaid, who is also former law minister under the late Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's administration, argued that the Sekretariat Undur Azam Baki (Step Down Azam Baki Secretariat) is targeting the wrong individual and should instead channel its ire at Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
