This was concluded after a team of vets and wildlife officials conducted a post-mortem on the elephant, according to a source from the Sabah Wildlife Department. NO SCHOOL CLOSURE TOMORROW

NEWS ON HAZE  AND AIR POLLUTION Air quality has improved THERE will be no school closures tomorrow, Tuesday 24 September 2019 as the air quality has improved, reported Bernama . The Ministry of Education in a statement in Putrajaya today, Monday 23 September 2019, said any changes or new informatiion would be relayed from time to time. "The management of schools has been reminded to follow the standard operating procedures set and prioritise the health of students and teachers at all times," the statement said. It added that the public can go to the Ministry's website at www.moe.gov.my or check its officìal Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts at @kempendidikan. The highest Air Pollutant Index (API) as at 6pm was 188 at Johan Setia, Klang which is below the "very unhealthy" air category. NEWS ON AIR POLLUTION IN MALAYSIA Number of areas with unhealthy API readings rises to 38 In KUALA LUMPUR, Bernama reported that the number of areas with unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings has risen to 38 as at 8am today, Sunday 22 September 2019 compared to only 18 yesterday. It includes new areas in Kedah, Perak, Melaka, Pahang, Johor and Terengganu. Acccording to the Air Pollution Index Management System (APIMS) portal, two new areas in Kedah which recorded unhealthy air quality this morning were Sungai Petani (107) and Kulim Hi-Tech (105). Five areas with unhealthy air quality in Perak were Taiping (111), Tasek Ipoh (164), Pegoh Ipoh (145), Seri Manjung (132) and Tanjung Malim (132). NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING With total revenue of  RM51,340,994 in 2018  compared with  RM35,484,145 in 2017 MUSIC AUTHORS' COPYRIGHT PROTECTION (MACP) BERHAD, a company protecting the copyrights of  songwriters, music composers, lyricists and the publishing companies had issued notice of its 29th annual general meeting, which will be held on Monday 30 September 2019 at Encorp Strand Mall, Kota Damansara. Its secretary, Elaine Chen Bee Ling, signed the notice on 6 September 2019, by order of the Board. MACP, with about 4,000  Malaysian members, recorded 44.7% increase in revenue to RM51,340,994 in 2018 from RM35,484,145 in the previous year.
