Agensi berita rasmi Malaysia Bernama melaporkan seorang saksi memb eritahu Mahkamah Sesyen bahawa Tuan Sayed Amir Muzzakkir Al Sayed Mohamad, memintanya membayar RM350,000 secara tunai bagi sebahagian komisen 5%, selepas membantu syarikat Nexuscorpgroup Sdn Bhd (NXG) mendapatkan tender projek polis. A coalition of 19 Indian NGOs known as Gelombang Saksama has proposed establishing a dedicated statutory body, a public-private funding vehicle and a Cabinet committee to address the Indian community’s socio-economic challenges,_ Former Klang MP Encik Charles Santiago, speaking for the coalition, said the statutory body would serve as the main agency responsible for implementing measures to improve the community’s socio-economic position. “We believe that body should be the parent body responsible for managing efforts to improve the socio-economic situation and address the deprivation faced by the Indian community,” he told a press conference at Hotel Armada, Petaling Jaya, after meeting Bersama leaders.
