Hannah Yeoh's husband shouldn't get involved at all in the first place

After pending Lim Guan Eng's cases, now Hannah Yeoh's husband. Whatever reason you may give, it doesn't look good. It's disappointing to say DAP now looks like another MCA and BN. Once people, especially Chinese, lose trust on you, you're finished.

A news portal from the mainstream media FMT reported today that Selangor Investment, Trade and Mobility Committee Chairman Encik Ng Sze Han said both companies selected for a new demand-responsive transit (DRT) system in the Klang Valley were approved by the land public transport agency (Apad) and federal regulators.

Selangor Exco member Encik Ng Sze Han said Asia Mobility Technologies, owned by Ramachandran Muniandy, and Badan Bas Coach Sdn Bhd were selected based on their experience in rolling out their proof of concept earlier.

Selangor Exco defends choice of firm owned by Hannah Yeoh’s husband

The state government has found itself on the back foot following allegations of preferential treatment in the tender process after it was revealed that Youth and Sports Minister Puan Hannah Yeoh’s husband, Encik Ramachandran Muniandy, is the CEO of Asia Mobility Technologies Sdn Bhd, one of the companies selected.

“Asia Mobility Technologies and Badan Bas Coach Sdn Bhd had presented satisfactorily to a state transport committee, which led to the state deciding to appoint them based on their experience in rolling out their proof of concept earlier, which was also approved by Apad previously,” Ng said in a statement today.

“The state wants to meet the standards set by the authorities to ensure the safety of passengers was guaranteed,” he said, adding that a letter of intent was issued on June 15, 2023, followed by a letter of appointment to the two companies on September 20.

Yesterday, X user @RakyatAduan asked the Selangor government how a company closely linked to the minister could be given the project, if there was an open tender, and whether Asia Mobility Technologies was chosen on merit.

Another solution in ensuring DAP's image is well maintained and not jeopardized, Anthony Loke should request Hannah Yeoh to step down as minister

Representing 22,000 lawyers, Malaysian Bar to challenge Pardons Board's reduced Najib's jail sentence and fine

Media reported the Malaysian Bar has filed for judicial review to challenge the decision of the Federal Territories Pardons Board (FTPB) to halve former prime minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak’s jail sentence and reduce the fine in his SRC International corruption conviction. In the application filed by solicitors Messrs Amir & Rajpal Ghat in the High Court last Friday, the Bar, which represents 22,000 lawyers practising in Peninsular Malaysia, sought a declaration that the board’s collective decision was unlawful, unconstitutional and void, according to FMT . It also requested an order of certiorari against the board to quash the FTPB’s decision. The board and Najib are named as respondents to the application.
