Loneliness In The Room
"Kesepian Di Kamar Ini" is a Malay song released in Malaysia in 1994.
The song was sung by the late Rohana Jalil, a high-profile and popular female vocalist and entertainer at the time.
The song was composed by Fauzi Kadir, and the lyrics were also written by Fauzi Kadir. Jay Jay was the album producer at the recording studio.
Song about feeling lonely in her bedroom
Verse 1
Di malam dingin hujan turun satu satu
On a cold night, the rain falls one by one
Jatuh ke bumi gersang dan merah
Falling to the barren, red earth
Aku di kamar ditemani kesedaran
I am in the room accompanied by consciousness
Menyelimuti kedukaan ku
Wrapping around my sorrow
Pre-Chorus, Bridge
Ku ditinggalkan kekasih hati yang telah pergi
I have been left by my beloved who has passed on
(Diulang)
(Repeated)
Chorus
Mimpikah hujan membasahi ku
Is it a dream that the rain wets me
Di kala awan berwarna biru
When the clouds are blue
Memudar jadi kelabu menusuk kalbu
Fading into gray, piercing the heart
Suara hujan sayup terdengar
The sound of rain is faintly heard
Cahaya bulan lemah memancar
The moonlight shines weakly
Bumi menangis bagai pengemis dahaga
The earth cries like a thirsty beggar
Inikah cinta yang indah kita agungkan oh
Is this the beautiful love we glorified, oh
Last Verse
Kehidupan ku diserang kesengsaraan
My life is attacked by misery
Datang dan pergi silih berganti
Coming and going in turns
Satu persatu kedinginan mendatangi
One by one the chills set in
Ku kesepian di kamar ini
I am lonely in this room
Also literally translated as follows:
In the cold night, the rain falls one by one,
Falling onto the arid and red earth.
I am in my room, accompanied by awareness,
Enveloping my sorrow.
I was abandoned by my sweetheart who has gone away
Is it a dream, the rain drenching me
When the clouds were blue
Fading to gray, piercing the heart
The sound of rain is faintly heard
The moonlight shines weakly
The earth weeps like a thirsty beggar
Is this the beautiful love we glorify?
My life is plagued by misery
Coming and going in turns
One by one, the chills set in
I am all alone in this room
(The phrase "kedinginan" literally translates to "coldness" or "chills," but in this poetic and melancholic context, it represents the creeping feeling of sadness, emptiness, or isolation).

What Mahathir expected did not happen Initially, Mahathir Mohamad thought his party – PPBM (Bersatu) – could morph into a new version of UMNO. After all, it was him who brilliantly destroyed the original UMNO in 1988 and created “UMNO Baru” (the current UMNO version 2.0). But unlike in 1988, Mr. Mahathir had quit UMNO to form PPBM on 8 September 2016, and was no longer in charge of UMNO. UMNO won four times higher than Bersatu in GE14 Hence, after he leveraged on opposition Pakatan Harapan and stunningly defeated the scandal-plagued Najib government, his first priority was recruiting UMNO MPs to join his party. UMNO, although lost miserably, still won 54 parliamentary seats in the May 2018 General Election – more than 4 times the number of seats Mahathir’s party managed to capture. PPBM the worst among four strategic parties Mahathir’s party won only 13 seats out of the 52 Parliamentary seats it contested in the 2018 poll. That’s ...
While Malaysian prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is on an official visit to Italy, Spain and Brazil to attend the BRICS summit, his own Peoples’ Justice Party (PKR) is in rapid collapse at home. News is emerging from chat groups and pundits there are mass branch resignations of members across more than 200 branches nationwide. Some branches just don’t exist anymore. The party vote for deputy president, where Puan Nurul Izzah Anwar, Anwar Ibrahim’s daughter challenged incumbent Rafizi Ramli, who was minister of economy until he resigned a few weeks ago showed that some 16,000 members out of 30,000 eligible, did not even bother to vote in this nationally publicized dual. This just indicates the level of apathy within PKR itself, with such an important event for the future of the party. PKR has gradually been losing electoral support since 2013. In the 2014 general election PKR received 20.39 percent of the national aggregate vote, and in 2022 PKR only received 15.72 percent of the...
Shah Alam City YESTERDAY, FMT reported that the capital city of Selangor had become very quiet, slow and almost no business, many buildings unoccupied, which one of them only utilised by less than ten staff of a company. Some factories closed down, businesses from petty traders to big timers closed shops for the past six months and so on. Even foreign business people from Indonesia and Pakistan decided to go back to their respective countries or moved to other places. A prominent business analyst, in his blog wrote that one of the reasons for the downfall of Shah Alam was the government's policy in overconcentrating a Malay population in the said city. Syed Albar Ali also suggested other reasons as well. Below is the write-up as published by OutSyed The Box on 30 January 2020. Syed Akbar Ali's comments : Just the other day Forest City announced 400 staff were being let go. Could it be because things are not so great anymore? D...
THE WOLF NEVER WANTED THE ARGUMENT A Wolf And A Lamb Meet At A Stream. Not As Enemies. As Neighbors Sharing Water. The Wolf Is Higher Up The Brook. The Water Runs From Him To Her. Still, He Accuses. “You Muddy My Water.” The Lamb Answers Gently. She Is Correct. Physics Is On Her Side. The Water Cannot Flow Upward. The Accusation Collapses Instantly. So The Wolf Replaces It. “I Heard You Spoke Ill Of Me Last Year.” The Lamb Explains Again. She Is Six Months Old. She Did Not Exist Last Year. Another Charge Fails. So The Wolf Stops Pretending To Care About Truth. “If It Was Not You, It Was Your Father.” And With That, The Argument Ends. The Teeth Appear. The Lamb Is Eaten. This Story Is Not About Cruelty. It Is About Power. The Wolf Never Wanted An Explanation. He Wanted A Justification. Each Accusation Was Not A Question But A Stepping Stone Toward An Outcome Already Decided. This Is The Pattern Predators Follow: They Accuse First. Then Adjust The Accusation Until Resistance Looks Like G...
Samsuri has not proven any significant contribution to Terengganu and Malaysia Yes, Samsuri has potential to become a future leader, but not now Kamaruddin Noor and R Sri Sanjeevan said a party president should head PN, but Razali Idris said Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar would be a good fit. One of Malaysian leading political news portals, FMT today reported two parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) leaders have poured cold water on a proposal for PAS vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar to be a candidate for the post of Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman, saying that the position is best held by a party president. Kelantan Bersatu chief Encik Kamaruddin Noor said the PN chairman should ideally be appointed from among party leaders while Bersatu associate wing vice-chief Encik R Sri Sanjeevan said it would be more appropriate if the chairman is a party president. However, Terengganu Bersatu chief Encik Razali Idris, a Supreme Council member, said Samsuri would be a good f...
Selamat menyertai Kelab Agamawan Problematik Nampaknya seorang lagi tokoh agamawan, pendakwah, penceramah motivasi keagamaan dan ilmuwan agama kelihatan terjebak di arena kontroversi berkaitan perlanggaran undang-undang negara yang serius. Jika sabit kesalahan, membolehkan seseorang pesalah dihukum penjara.
