Super senior happy couple's secret formula
In a quaint, picturesque village, a couple was the talk of the town for their astonishing vitality. The husband, an impressive 102 years old, and his wife, a lively 98, defied their ages with their remarkable energy and health. Every day, they worked tirelessly on their farm, radiating a youthfulness that seemed almost magical.
One sunny afternoon, a curious visitor arrived at the farm, eager to uncover the secret to their longevity. He found the old man outside, chopping wood with vigor, his shirtless physique looking decades younger than his 102 years.
The visitor approached, marveling, “I hear you’re 102 years old!”
“That’s right,” the old man replied, flashing a warm smile.
“Incredible! You look amazing!” the visitor exclaimed.
“Thank you,” the old man said modestly.
“Do you mind if I ask—”
“How I’ve stayed so healthy at this age?” the old man interjected with a knowing grin. “Help me carry this wood to the house, and I’ll tell you.”
The visitor eagerly agreed, and the two of them carried the wood inside. Once they were seated, the old man began his tale.
“You see,” he said, leaning back in his chair, “I’ve been married for 75 years. Early on in our marriage, the wife and I made a little agreement: whenever we had an argument, the one who lost would have to run 5 kilometers.”
He chuckled, his eyes twinkling. “Now, we’ve had a pretty normal marriage, so let’s just say I’ve been running 5 kilometers almost every day for the past 75 years. That’s why I’m in such good shape.”
The visitor laughed but couldn’t help asking, “That explains you, but how is your wife in such great shape too?”
The old man’s grin widened mischievously. “Oh, that’s simple. She usually runs after me to make sure I finish the whole five!”
