In JB, police believe the male technician lying in a pool of blood was murdered
Malaysian official news agency Bernama reported a male technician was found dead in an apartment in Johor Bahru on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, with police believing that the victim was murdered.
Johor Bahru Selatan police chief Assistant Commissioner Encik Raub Selamat (picture, top) said they received a report regarding the incident around 11.12pm, adding that the victim was 33 years old.
“The victim was found lying in a pool of blood and was pronounced dead at the scene,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Police also found a knife next to the victim, which they believe was used in the incident.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, with police working on identifying the motive behind it.
