Leaked survey divulges KJ the most popular Malay leader

Not a Comedy Story

Leaked findings from a Merdeka Center survey on voters’ “approval ratings” have painted a seemingly grim picture for government leaders, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his deputy Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi trailing far behind in Malay support, Malaysian popular news portal Malaysiakini reported today.

Topping the charts, with 62 percent of Malays surveyed supposedly expressing their satisfaction with him, is UMNO exile-turned-returnee Encik Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, followed by Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (49 percent) and PAS vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar (48 percent).

While Anwar received a 45 percent rating in terms of "satisfaction", PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang garnered 41 percent, ahead of former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli (36 percent).

Zahid, who is also the UMNO president and BN chairperson, ranked as the leader with the least amount of support with a 31 percent rating.

Australian political analyst says Malaysian PM's political party, PKR is in collapse

While Malaysian prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is on an official visit to Italy, Spain and Brazil to attend the BRICS summit, his own Peoples’ Justice Party (PKR) is in rapid collapse at home. News is emerging from chat groups and pundits there are mass branch resignations of members across more than 200 branches nationwide. Some branches just don’t exist anymore. Shah Alam City YESTERDAY, FMT reported that the capital city of Selangor had become very quiet, slow and almost no business, many buildings unoccupied, which one of them only utilised by less than ten staff of a company. Bersama expected to win half of PKR, DAP and Amanah's existing parliamentary and state seats in Johor

Analysts say Johor state elections will be PH Vs BN — but they overlook Bersama PAS and Bersatu are expected to face a rough ride in the upcoming Johor state election, as both parties look set to go their own way while their potential allies appear lacklustre. Dalam satu perkembangan yang agak memeranjatkan, teraju utama Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli mengesahkan Encik Syukri Razab ( gambar , atas sekali ) adalah presiden parti itu dan namanya berdaftar dengan Pendaftar Pertubuhan (RoS - Registrar of Society) Malaysia. Beliau merupakan bekas pegawai khas kepada Rafizi Ramli.
