Siti Kassim questions certain politicians crawling back to "UMNO"
TO THE POLITICIANS WHO GOT SACKED, LEFT OR KICKED OUT FROM THEIR POLITICAL PARTIES AND NOW WANTING TO RETURN
Getting sacked is not a badge of honour — especially when you come crawling back, prominent and controversial lawyer Puan Siti Kassim said recently via her Facebook posting.
She reminded let’s not rewrite history.
According to Siti, these politicians weren’t some brave reformers who walked away on principle. You were removed. Expelled. Shown the door.
"At that time, you played victim."
She added, these leaders painted themselves as the one standing up against wrongdoing.
"You told the rakyat you were different. So what happened now?" the fierce lawyer asked.
Sacarstically she questioned: "Did the reasons you were kicked out suddenly disappear?"
"Or did your “principles” expire the moment political survival became harder?
" Because coming back after being sacked doesn’t look like redemption.
"It looks like rehabilitation for convenience.
"If you were truly wronged, why return? If you were truly right, why rejoin?
"You can’t have it both ways," Siti suggested.
She also said that either the party was flawed enough for the politticians to be removed and criticised — or it’s acceptable enough for them to re-enter.
Siti believed the reality is that this constant flip-flop exposes the real issue: it was never about principles — it was always about positioning.
"And the rakyat can see the pattern very clearly:
"When you’re inside — you defend. When you’re outside — you attack.
"When you’re desperate — you return," she said.
Lastly, Siti firmly told these politicians: " That’s not political struggle. That’s political survival with no spine."
Siti didn't mention names of any individual, neither had she specified any political parties. It's only the assumption of Permadu Malaysia that Siti Kassim was referring to Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein and Encik Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar returning back to UMNO.
