Bruce Lee's widow appears
As quoted by The Star yesterday, retired American teacher Linda Lee Cadwell, widow of the late martial arts icon Bruce Lee, recently made a rare public appearance in Seattle, the United States.
Reports indicate she hosted an intimate gathering with a group of Bruce’s devoted fans to mark her 81st birthday, sharing tea and engaging in warm conversation.
Photos and videos shared online have drawn widespread attention, highlighting Linda’s graceful presence and flawless appearance.
According to Malaysia's Oriental Daily, Linda currently resides in Seattle – a place of deep personal significance as it’s where she first met Bruce.
The city is also where Bruce opened his first-ever martial arts school, Jun Fan Gung Fu Academy, in 1962.
For the record, Linda married Bruce in 1964.
After Bruce’s untimely death at 32 in 1973, Linda honoured his legacy by publishing several biographies and founding the Bruce Lee Foundation.
The couple had two children – the late actor Brandon Lee, who passed away at 28 in 1993; and actress Shannon Lee, 56.
