Dear Christian Friend
Hope you're doing well. It's been a while since I tackled trending issues, but I felt compelled to share some thoughts. Today marks the Seventh day of the US-Israel conflict with Iran, and I've noticed some of you approaching the discussion with religious perspectives that seem to support Israel over Islam.
Let me clarify, Christianity and Judaism are distinct. The Quran refers to both as "People of the Book". Christians received the Injeel (Bible), while Jews received the Torah (Old Testament). Moses led the Jews, and Jesus led Christians. The Torah prophesied Jesus' coming, and knowledgeable Jews anticipated his arrival.
When Jesus arrived, they accused his mother, Mary of prostitution a stance that persisted for over 500 years until Prophet Muhammad's arrival. The Quran restores dignity to Jesus and Mary, his first miracle was speaking as an infant (Quran 19:29-33).
The Quran says: "So she pointed to the baby. They exclaimed, 'How can we talk to someone who is an infant in the cradle?' Jesus declared, 'I am truly a servant of Allah.. (Quran 19:29-33)
This shows the Quran's high regard for Jesus Christ. In fact, any Muslim who doesn't believe in Jesus Christ isn't a Muslim. The Quran also highlights the relationship between Christians and Muslims: "You will find the closest in affection to the believers are those who say, 'We are Christians.(Quran 5:82)
I understand Christians may view Israel from a biblical context, but today's Israel is a group of Zionists who hate others and love only themselves. Zionism is a political movement that emerged in 19th-century Europe, advocating for a Jewish homeland in Palestine. It has nothing to do with Christianity or Jesus Christ.
In fact, Jews who lived during Jesus time rejected him and his message. Today, Israel's population is 73.7% Jewish, 18.3% Muslim, and 1.9% Christian. Christians are also targeted by Zionists, who see them as followers of a prophet born out of wedlock.
When you see rejoicing over Muslim suffering, know they're coming for you next.
Thanks for your time.
