Once again, Ramasamy says Mahathir is better than Anwar — this time about dealing with Americans

Former DAP's Pulau Pinang deputy chief minister said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s eagerness to align with US president Donald Trump—who has consistently shown contempt for the Palestinian cause—raises questions about his priorities.  Prof Dr P Ramasamy added, one might not always agree with former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, but it’s likely he would have told the Americans to take their conditions elsewhere if they threatened national dignity. He was referring to Trump’s announcement of a reduction in tariffs on Malaysian goods—from 25 percent to 19 percent—which was met with celebration by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who reportedly spoke on the phone with Trump just a day prior. Chuck Norris is still alive

  On 10 March 2025, Chuck Norris turned 85. But instead of making it about himself, he chose to honor the strongest person he ever knew — his mother, Wilma Norris Knight. “My mom would’ve turned 104 this 24 May 2025,” he wrote. She was born in 1921 in Wilson, a tiny town in Oklahoma where Chuck also grew up. Back then, it was a close-knit place with barely 1,800 people. Her childhood was anything but easy. At just 8 years old, she was placed under state care due to extreme poverty. She spent two years in a children’s hospital fighting a rare illness — alone, away from her family. When she finally returned home — healed, but during the harshest years of the Great Depression — life didn’t get any easier. The whole family, even the children, picked cotton to survive. When one field was done, they moved to the next town and started over. She married Chuck’s father at 16. Years later, he abandoned them — and Wilma raised three boys alone.
