Malaysia sambut Merdeka hari ini Fesyen patriotik tarik perhatian orang ramai di Putrajaya Muhammad Farid Nasir SEORANG pelajar sekolah menengah bukan sahaja menunjukkan rasa sayang terhadap Malaysia, tetapi kasih dan sayang itu turut dicurahkan kepada perdana menteri dua kali Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Dengan memakai tanjak di kepala serta berjubah jalur gemilang tertera wajah pemimpin kesayangan ramai berusia 94 tahun itu, Muhammad Farid Nasir membelanjakan RM50 menempah pakaian tersebut dari seorang tukang jahit. Ketika ditanya harapannya, Muhammad Farid berkata beliau berkongsi dengan rakan-rakannya mengimpikan sebuah Malaysia yang aman dan harmoni. "Saya harap Malaysia dapat mengekalkan keharmonian dan kebebasan semua kaum mengamalkan kepercayaan dan budaya masing-masing," beliau dipetik The Star Online sebagai berkata demikian. Free Breakfast & Education In Primary Schools Parents group warns of bumps in free breakfast plan Dr Maszlee Malik, education minister The Melaka Action Group for Parents (Magpie) has questioned the wisdom of serving free breakfast to every child in primary school, saying it may be better to cater only to those who need or want it, FMT reported today, Wednesday 28 August 2019. Magpie chairman Mak Chee Kin said the programme went against the government's intention to tighten its purse strings and warned of logistical problems and the possibility that food would be wasted.
