Illuminating the dark

Two candles lay side by side. One had never been lit, while the other was already half-burned, its sides streaked with frozen, tear-like tracks of wax from every time it had flickered in the dark.

The unlit candle looked down at her companion rather proudly and said:

"Every single evening, you come back smaller than before. You’ll never actually get to enjoy life this way — your entire body is just melting away into nothing."

The half-burned candle smiled softly and replied, "Yes, I know. But there is no sadness or regret in my heart. You see, our purpose in this life is to spark light, to illuminate the path for others, and to bring a sense of sacred comfort to someone's evening prayers. 

Honestly, it’s you who should be pitied. A candle that never finds its purpose is ultimately of no use to anyone. With time, you’ll understand this truth, and you’ll long to feel the flame — to live a life that might be shorter, but truly matters."

Spark light in the hearts of others by sharing your own warmth and kindness. A flame never loses its brilliance by lighting another candle; it only makes the world a little brighter.

MAHATHIR MAY REJOIN UMNO

What Mahathir expected did not happen Initially, Mahathir Mohamad thought his party – PPBM (Bersatu) – could  morph  into a new version of UMNO. Australian political analyst says Malaysian PM's political party, PKR is in collapse

While Malaysian prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is on an official visit to Italy, Spain and Brazil to attend the BRICS summit, his own Peoples’ Justice Party (PKR) is in rapid collapse at home. News is emerging from chat groups and pundits there are mass branch resignations of members across more than 200 branches nationwide. Some branches just don’t exist anymore. The party vote for deputy president, where Puan Nurul Izzah Anwar, Anwar Ibrahim’s daughter challenged incumbent Rafizi Ramli, who was minister of economy until he resigned a few weeks ago showed that some 16,000 members out of 30,000 eligible, did not even bother to vote in this nationally publicized dual. OVERCONCENTRATION OF A MALAY POPULATION MAKES SHAH ALAM A GHOST CITY, SAYS ANALYST

Shah Alam City YESTERDAY, FMT reported that the capital city of Selangor had become very quiet, slow and almost no business, many buildings unoccupied, which one of them only utilised by less than ten staff of a company. Some factories closed down, businesses from petty traders to big timers closed shops for the past six months and so on. Even foreign business people from Indonesia and Pakistan decided to go back to their respective countries or moved to other places. A prominent business analyst, in his blog wrote that one of the reasons for the downfall of Shah Alam was the government's policy in overconcentrating a Malay population in the said city. Agensi berita rasmi Malaysia Bernama melaporkan Istana Pahang semalam mengisytiharkan Sultan Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah berkenan mengurniakan gelaran Tengku Puan Bendahara kepada Tengku Natasya Puteri Tengku Adnan. Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Sultan Pahang Mejar Jeneral Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya menerusi pengisytiharan memaklumkan gelaran berkenaan berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Januari 2026. Syukri Razab Presiden Parti Bersama Malaysia

Dalam satu perkembangan yang agak memeranjatkan, teraju utama Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli mengesahkan Encik Syukri Razab ( gambar , atas sekali ) adalah presiden parti itu dan namanya berdaftar dengan Pendaftar Pertubuhan (RoS - Registrar of Society) Malaysia. Beliau merupakan bekas pegawai khas kepada Rafizi Ramli. Selepas pengambilalihan parti tersebut, Rafizi dan Encik Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad mengambil alih peranan sebagai peneraju utama parti, namun Syukri Razab kekal memegang jawatan Presiden Parti Bersama.
