Five years have come & gone, yet memories of Mork remain as vivid as ever ~ like a timeless jazz tune playing softly in the background of life.

Mork was more than just a room mate. He was a trusted confidante, a good friend, & one of those rare souls who could make even ordinary moments memorable. 

A man who loved his jazz music, enjoyed a good game of tennis, & somehow managed to tag along comfortably with almost anyone despite being quietly reserved by nature.

He had that unique balance about him ~ jovial & humorous, yet never loud; friendly, yet never intrusive. 

Mork was the kind of person who could sit silently in a room, say one perfectly timed witty remark, & suddenly everyone would burst into laughter. His humour never demanded attention… it simply arrived gracefully, like one of his favourite jazz improvisations.

Living with Mork meant learning that peace & laughter could exist together. One moment he would be quietly minding his own business, & the next he would casually deliver a joke so dry that it took a few seconds before you realised you had been brilliantly roasted.

And tennis? Ah yes… he played with passion, though I suspected half the enjoyment came from looking stylish while pretending not to care about the score.

Though five years have passed, his friendship still lingers warmly in the hearts of those who knew him. 

Some people leave behind possessions. Mork left behind stories, laughter, fond memories, & that unmistakable calm presence we still miss today.

May he continue resting peacefully in eternal serenity ~ somewhere quiet & heavenly, where smooth jazz fills the air endlessly & every tennis shot lands perfectly on the line.

Fondly remembered & missed by all who knew him. God bless..

MAHATHIR MAY REJOIN UMNO

What Mahathir expected did not happen Initially, Mahathir Mohamad thought his party – PPBM (Bersatu) – could  morph  into a new version of UMNO. After all, it was him who brilliantly destroyed the original UMNO in 1988 and created “UMNO Baru” (the current UMNO version 2.0). Australian political analyst says Malaysian PM's political party, PKR is in collapse

While Malaysian prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is on an official visit to Italy, Spain and Brazil to attend the BRICS summit, his own Peoples’ Justice Party (PKR) is in rapid collapse at home. News is emerging from chat groups and pundits there are mass branch resignations of members across more than 200 branches nationwide. Some branches just don’t exist anymore. The party vote for deputy president, where Puan Nurul Izzah Anwar, Anwar Ibrahim’s daughter challenged incumbent Rafizi Ramli, who was minister of economy until he resigned a few weeks ago showed that some 16,000 members out of 30,000 eligible, did not even bother to vote in this nationally publicized dual. Dua tokoh parti politik yang sukar dipisahkan dari imej rasuah , semakin panas bertelagah Rentak Madani 🎵 Akhbar Sinar Harian melaporkan semalam bahawa Ketua Pemuda UMNO, Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh mencabar Ahli Majlis Kerja Tertinggi (MKT) UMNO,  Datuk Lokman Noor Adam  supaya berdepan dengannya sama ada di mahkamah ataupun di gelanggang, berikutan tuduhan kononnya beliau mempunyai agenda tersembunyi untuk menaikkan  Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein  sebagai Perdana Menteri. OVERCONCENTRATION OF A MALAY POPULATION MAKES SHAH ALAM A GHOST CITY, SAYS ANALYST

Shah Alam City YESTERDAY, FMT reported that the capital city of Selangor had become very quiet, slow and almost no business, many buildings unoccupied, which one of them only utilised by less than ten staff of a company. Some factories closed down, businesses from petty traders to big timers closed shops for the past six months and so on. Even foreign business people from Indonesia and Pakistan decided to go back to their respective countries or moved to other places. A prominent business analyst, in his blog wrote that one of the reasons for the downfall of Shah Alam was the government's policy in overconcentrating a Malay population in the said city. Agensi berita rasmi Malaysia Bernama melaporkan Istana Pahang semalam mengisytiharkan Sultan Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah berkenan mengurniakan gelaran Tengku Puan Bendahara kepada Tengku Natasya Puteri Tengku Adnan. Pengelola Bijaya Diraja Sultan Pahang Mejar Jeneral Datuk Mohamed Zahari Yahya menerusi pengisytiharan memaklumkan gelaran berkenaan berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Januari 2026.
