THE RIGHT PLACE WILL ALWAYS VALUE YOU THE RIGHT WAY
A father said to his daughter, “You graduated with honors. Here’s the Jeep I bought years ago. It’s old now, but before I give it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them I want to sell it. See how much they offer you.”
The daughter went to the lot and returned. “They offered me $1,000,” she said. “They said it looks worn out.”
The father replied, “Now take it to a pawn shop.” She went, came back, and said, “They only offered $100 because it’s just an old Jeep.”

Then the father asked her to take it to the local Jeep club. She did, and when she returned, she was wide-eyed. “Some people there offered me $100,000,” she said. “They told me it’s a classic, a collector’s piece.”
The father looked at her and said, “The right place will always value you the right way. If people don’t see your worth, don’t get angry—it just means you’re in the wrong place.
The people who truly know your value are the ones who will appreciate you. Never stay where no one recognizes what you’re worth.”
