Jamal Abdullah reminds son to remain humble while driving new Mercedes AMG A-Class
"As a father, I believe my children should appreciate the blessings God has given us. Greatness is only temporary," said Jamal Abdillah.
"As a father, I believe my children should appreciate the blessings God has given us. Greatness is only temporary.
"Always do good and be thankful for what Allah has provided. Life requires caution because not everyone will celebrate your achievements," he said.
Jamal, 65, shared this advice after Zaki recently surprised many by posting a photo of himself with a Mercedes-Benz AMG A-Class, a car he purchased with his own money.
According to Jamal, Zaki had called him to share the news.
"I advised him to drive carefully. Safety comes first, and he shouldn't get too excited, as accidents can happen.
"At the same time, I see this as a positive step. He has worked hard, and now he can afford a car. As a father, I am proud to see his dedication paying off," he said in a Harian Metro report.
Jamal also spoke about Osama, who is currently in his third semester at the National Academy of Arts, Culture and Heritage (Aswara).
"He will resume his studies in September to complete his diploma. I hope he succeeds in his journey."
Meanwhile, in an interview with an entertainment portal, Zaki acknowledged that owning a luxury car comes with bigger responsibilities.
"I should be proud of myself for achieving this, but I also understand that I now have greater responsibilities. This means I have to work even harder," he said.
He added that purchasing the car had been a long-term goal, which he had been working towards since October last year.
Zaki has released three singles: "Jalan Kembali," "Your Habibi," and "Sengketa."
The Mercedes-Benz AMG A-Class is estimated to cost around RM300,000.
