New broker Ikhwan Muslimin makes Anwar & Co to combine with PAS in GE16?

If the news is true, almost immedately, mainstream media is expected to promote and portray PAS as a very good, genuine and real Islamic political party, no more extremist, no more riding race and religion! In politics, things change in accordance with political interests.

In his newest article, Prof Dr Murray Hunter wrote in his blog that news around town is the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan) has finally brokered a deal between Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and PAS. This agreement means that PAS will not oppose the unity government within parliament. Nor will PAS be vocal against Anwar in the media including their own portal Harakah. We can already see that Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor and Datuk Seri Takiyudin Hassan have already toned down their rhetoric, and charges against Sanusi will go nowhere.

"In exchange Anwar has promised funds to PAS Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu. The intention is without any hiccups to develop this understanding into an electoral pact for GE16 due by 2027. This will guarantee Anwar a second term as prime minister, and is a realization that UMNO has lost their ‘mojo’ in the Malay heartlands," Murray Hunter said.

" Ikhwan or the Muslim Brotherhood is moving in big time into Malaysia. Anwar has already announced that wounded Hamas fighters will be flown to Malaysia for treatment. They will be allowed to come with their families," the Hadyai, Thailand-based blogger added.

Hunter, who is the former Malaysian Perlis government university professor concluded: "Looking back in retrospect, this is what Anwar has been working towards all along. We can now be certain the direction Malaysia is now heading in."

So, what is going to happen to Bersatu, in future? As their survival is not independent, it looks like Bersatu has no choice, but to follow PAS or they will die slowly.

Bersatu may change its top leadership so as to ensure the party founded by former PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (later left the party) will remain relevant in Malaysian politics.

What Mahathir expected did not happen Initially, Mahathir Mohamad thought his party – PPBM (Bersatu) – could  morph  into a new version of UMNO. After all, it was him who brilliantly destroyed the original UMNO in 1988 and created “UMNO Baru” (the current UMNO version 2.0). But unlike in 1988, Mr. Mahathir had quit UMNO to form PPBM on 8 September 2016, and was no longer in charge of UMNO. Shah Alam City YESTERDAY, FMT reported that the capital city of Selangor had become very quiet, slow and almost no business, many buildings unoccupied, which one of them only utilised by less than ten staff of a company.
