Firemen helping to evacuate flood victims The number of flood victims relocated to temporary relief centres (PPS) has risen to 1,239 people from 363 families as at 4pm Sunday 27 October 2019. The states involved in the disaster are Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Perak, Johor, Penang and Kedah. In SELANGOR, the number of evacuees increased to 743 from 234 families. A Smart Selangor Command Centre (SSCC) spokesman said the PPS at SK Parit Mahang in Jeram continued to receive more flood victims now totalling 536 from 148 families compared to 492 Sunday morning. "The PPS at SK Ijok recorded more evacuees with 72 people from 49 families compared to 32 victims Sunday morning.
